Hindu Devotees Gather at Pashupatinath Temple

KATMANDU | NEPAL

Thousands of Hindu devotees gathered at the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu on the last Monday of the sacred month of Shravan. Dressed in traditional attire, they came to make offerings and receive blessings.

A unique tradition allows devotees to touch the sacred cow, a symbol of purity and divinity, reinforcing their spiritual connection with Lord Shiva. This ritual highlights devotion and the deep bond between Hindus and the divine, making Pashupatinath one of Nepal’s most important temples.
